Traveling with The Doctor Part Two

Nate stepped out of the TARDIS and onto the gravelly soil of Kiloga Eight's seventh moon. Looking up, he could see the planet itself.

Lauren exited the TARDIS. "Whoa," she managed to say. She stared open-mouthed into the void.

The Doctor was the last to step out. "Nice, isn't it? The only moon of Kiloga Eight that hasn't been industrialized by the planet's government."

As they watched, large transports flew back and forth from the moons and the planet.

Out of nowhere, half of the transports exploded violently.

Lauren stepped back in shock. "All those people."

The Doctor frowned. "This is wrong. This is very wrong." Turning, he headed into the TARDIS. Nate and Lauren followed wordlessly.

Lauren found her voice first. "What just happened?"

Nate shook his head. "Whatever it was, it just killed all those people."

The Doctor said nothing. He was too busy prepping the TARDIS for another trip. The look on his face told Nate that things like this happened quite often with him. Well, at least they were there to stop it from getting worse.

On the planet, a rather important-looking man sat at a desk. A woman approached him. "Protocol Zeta is complete. All the news frequencies are buzzing about what has happened."

The man chuckled. "Good. Now, prepare for Stage Two."

The woman nodded and walked away.

The TARDIS materialized in a spacious, yet empty, alleyway.

The trio stepped out.

The Doctor looked around. "The company we're looking for should be somewhere around here."

Lauren started walking. "Then let's find it." Nate and The Doctor followed.

They had no idea what they were about to stumble upon.
